Sunday Morning Worship: The Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 and provides all who attend an opportunity to worship God in Spirit and in Truth through prayer, praise, and the proclamation of the Word in an atmoshpere of Christian love.

Children's Ministry: Children's Church for all children Kindergarten through 6th grade. Children's Church meets each Sunday morning at 10:30 A.M. -- and it is never the "same old thing," but something different is planned for each Sunday. For example,

  • On one Sunday a month the children are given a Bible lesson with discussions.
  • On another Sunday during the month the children are shown a Christian video and have discussion about the lessons learned.
  • And again, on another Sunday during the month they have "mission time," with a lesson about children in the mission field.
  • And then once a month the children are taken to "Big Church," where they will experience workship with the adults.
Each Sunday for the next few months the children will have some time to work on crafts for a craft sale they plan to have in October for missions. Most importantly, Jesus is central to all the activities done in Children's Church: they are taught about Jesus, how to become a Christian, and how to live the Christian life. A snack time of either biscuits and butter with juice or milk; cinnamon rolls/donuts with juice or milk; or biscuits and sausage with juice or milk, is always a popular time!!

The church vans run on Sunday morning to pick up the children in time for Sunday School at 9:30 am. Currently, the vans travel a set route, but if you, or someone you know, is interested in riding one of the vans, please call the church office at 926-8358 and talk with either the secretary, Marilyn Brandt, or the pastor, Rev. James R. Staggs. You may also email the Children's Ministry leaders to receive additional information: Click to Send an E-Mail About Children's Ministry.
